Thanks for checking out Eastgate. We are a community of believers whose doors are open to people from all backgrounds and life circumstances. Whether you are a spiritual seeker who is just starting to ask questions about God, or a committed Christian who wants to sink the roots of your faith even deeper, you can find a home here at Eastgate.
We are striving to become the church that is described in the Bible: -Relevant teaching -Heartfelt worship -Authentic friends -Constant prayer -Compassionate care We would like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time. Eastgate is a large church, but not a huge church. This offers you two wonderful benefits. First, we are large enough that you can investigate the claims of Jesus anonymously if that is your choice. No one will point you out or make you raise your hand. You will probably be greeted in a friendly manner by someone. Secondly, we are a network of small groups in which you can develop authentic and enduring relationships with others as you seek to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. There are individuals of all ages and backgrounds that will share some of your same passions for ministry and service. We hope that you will find in us the body of believers for which you have been searching and the God for whom you thirst. You will not find a perfect people, but you will discover a people who desire to grow in the knowledge if God. You will be able to discover who you are in Jesus at Eastgate. |
