Jerome Taylor :: Pastor / Elder
Jerome and his wife, Melinda, began serving the people of Eastgate in the summer of 2013. They have been married since 2004 and have 4 children. He has a B.A. in Theology & History from William Carey College (2003) and is working toward his M.Div. at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jerome has been serving in ministries & churches throughout the U.S. and across the globe since 1999. He is a cooperative steward with our local, state, and national mission partners that helps to keep Eastgate engaged in the kingdom work of the gospel to our region.
His desire is to lead & equip generations of people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. He has passion to boldly share the scriptures and to call out servant-leaders that will impact the world for Jesus Christ. Through his gifts of leadership, preaching, & teaching, he is working toward building up disciples in our church and in our community.
Vacancy :: Worship Leader
We are currently in the process of prayerfully considering our next worship leader. We are grateful for the diverse team of volunteers that gives off their time and talents currently in leading the Worship Gatherings at Eastgate during times of praise & prayer each week. Please be in prayer for our church as we pursue God’s wisdom and will in these days ahead.
