What is Awana...?

It is potentially the start of one of the most exciting ministries for children, youth, and families.  Awana allows parents together with Awana volunteers to coach their children through an effective process that develops virtues, teamwork, and most importantly, genuine spiritual growth. There really is no other ministry like it and our prayer is that children in our community and throughout the world will come to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ.

Awana is an internationally known ministry that helps churches & parents develop spiritually disciples of all ages that grow as faithful followers of Jesus Christ.  With over 60 years of experience, Awana stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" which is based on 2 Timothy 2:15.  Everything done through Awana is meant to accomplish five goals:

  • Plug children & youth into the truth of Who God is...

  • Connect them with others who also care for their lives...

  • Grow their hearts, minds, & actions through Biblical wisdom...

  • Show them ways to serve & give back to a community...

  • And share the love of Jesus Christ with them & with others.

We invite your child or youth (ages 3 years to 12th grade) on a journey that will impact them positively for a lifetime.
